Personality: Reggie is definitely the typical stereotypical SOPS bred horse, having a superb personality to go along with his tremendous natural talent on the track. He has definitely proven himself as quite the ham whether he is on the track or at the stable back home. He is very easy to fall in love with and absolutely loves attention. At the first sight of cameras, he will stop whatever he's doing in a heart beat and pose, as if he is trying to make sure you get his good side. Overall, Reggie is a real attention seeker and a pleasant horse to be around. He will beg for treats or even just a nice pet from anyone he can get in arms reach. When treats are given to him - peppermints being his favorite - he'll often hoard a couple in his mouth and come back to you, slobbering them all in your hand - a parting gift. However, despite his level headed and pleasant demeanor, he is definitely no push-over and won't allow another horse to boss him around nor a human for that matter. While he's not bossy, he is definitely the sort of horse that will have his voice heard even though he cannot speak any words. He has a mind of his own when he is on the track and has a raging competitive spirit. He likes to succeed at whatever he does whether that is crossing the finish line first or securing a peppermint from a fan.
RACE INFORMATION
Grade 4
9-12 furlongs Turf [Great] Dirt [Bad] Race Results: 19 | 4-5-4 | 75% HOTY POINTS | 1 Running Style: Closer Just like at home, Reggie is no push-over on the track either. He is not only cunning, but showcases an incredibly amount of both endurance and tenacity which is perfect for the long distances that he excels at. He is by no means a sprinter or a miler because he prefers to hang around the back of the pack and conserve his energy. The reason Reggie does this is because he enjoys explosive wins where he comes right from the back of the pack and jumps to the front where he'll maintain a strong lead. It isn't uncommon for him to maintain multiple lengths ahead of his competition once he makes his move. As a result, plenty of people have come to wait for the moments where he gives his trademark spectacular finishes. WORKOUTS
