Personality: Eve is an oddly quiet filly, in an unsettling, quiet yet deadly type of way. Despite her reserved demeanor, she has a sort of look about her that still demands a certain type of respect. Her handlers keep their distance and tend to be weary around her, as if she is some sort of time bomb, waiting for the day she goes off. This may be due to her absolute massive frame and the chaotic reputation of most of her family members. However, Eve is definitely the black sheep - or horse - of the family, literally. Like her sire, Eve is one of the rare sane ones. While she is definitely the large and in charge type of horse, she is perfectly content being calm and collected and doesn't mind being handled by people. She is respectful and isn't too much of a handful in the barn as long as she gets her way. The big black filly definitely has a mind of her own and isn't much of a follower. In all honesty, she could really care less about other horses. She is not exactly mean to others, just disinterested. The only time she actually seems to acknowledge the existence of other horses is on the track. Out there she is a completely different horse and utterly terrifying - we believe this is where her family's reputation of being bi-polar kicks in. Eve has burning desire to win and it definitely shows on the track. She instantly turns aggressive, her eyes flickering bright with unending passion. She radiates confidence and towers over all of the other horses. Her enormous stride is utterly chilling - unlike anything you've ever seen. She looks as if she doesn't even have to try and maybe she doesn't - maybe she's just that good.
RACE INFORMATION
Maiden
9-12 furlongs Turf [Great] Dirt [Okay] Race Results: 1 | 1-0-0 | 0% Running Style: Closer Large and in charge, Eve likes to do things her way and due to her utter size and power, changing her mind is no easy feat. Eve breaks slow as she likes taking her time and enjoys having some space at the back of the pack. She doesn't like wasting her energy on the headcase front runners and would rather run her own race at the back of the pack, letting everyone else bother themselves with the speed duels up front. Sometimes she'll end up very, very far behind but that doesn't matter much. Eve isn't one to get worked up being left behind and actually is more at ease when she is all alone. As they hit the final turn, Eve begins to pick up speed and begins to slowly move up between horses. However, her final kick only comes once they hit the final stretch. Her eyes brighten and burn with a rage and burning desire to the wire first and her strides come in enormous bounds. It doesn't matter how much ground she has to make up, her utterly huge strides carry her to the wire as she sweeps past her competition. Eve tends to make it look almost too easy. |
