PRINCE CHARMING X ASHANTI |
DYLAN HIMSELF X SANTANA SECRET |
Personality: Large and in charge type personality, and stature. She built more like a colt than a filly and at first glance is often mistaken as such. She knows she is all that and doesn't take any less than what she thinks she deserves - which is a lot. She is in many ways fairly indifferent to people. She is a carbon copy of her dam, identical in both looks and speed.
Cas was a late edition to the Year Fourteen crop, but he's perhaps one of the most exciting. From the beginning, Cas was thought to be something special with his kind nature and unexpected elegance. He really does fit right in with the likes of Kismet and Apache Sunrise. Cas wasn't expected to be Mr. Sweet, but he's the first to the stall door for more than just food. He loves being pet and loves being within camera range. He'll stop and pose for pictures, flicking his delicate little ears. He loves baths and adores his public. He has an understated arrogance and seems to know he is all that. Cas is the type of horse that people can lay down with, crawl under and he defies the usual Witch Creek type.
Once on the track, Cascabel is all business. He'll lean all over his pony until they get into a canter. He's quite the handful to canter around a big loop and was a bit of a headcase. He'll chew on the outrider horse's mane there is no shield to block him and he is always up for a post parade brawl or two. It's often with a sigh of relief that Cascabel is turned loose on the track. He breaks off quickly and powers into his gallop stride. He has a very brilliant way of moving and seems to float over the track. He often fools his riders with how easy he is going. Despite his attitude in the parade, Cas is pretty easygoing during the running of the race. He's pushbutton and will run whenever he is told to run. He'll zip through traffic and wheel wide around the turn. Cas has a heart of gold and will never give up. If he's not at the wire first, Cas put up one hell of a fight.
Siri is as high strung as they come. She is never still, never content or ever really satisfied. She is a curious creature who gets into things when she isn't supposed to and she is not very fond of taking no for an answer. She can be a bit of a tough nut on her handlers and quite excitable. Sometimes she gets so excited that her whole body starts to quiver. She is a stunning animal with a heart of gold, but she has been known to hurt people if she doesn't get her way. She always needs a chain under her nose and a strong hand. She has a short attention span and is constantly twitching to get a look at things and loud noises. She loves having cats in her stall and will purposely lay down just so that they will curl up in her hip or on top of haunches or withers. She is very gentle with smaller animals and loves visitors. She is a bit of a ham and always has to have braids in her mane. The filly cannot stand running with her mane loose. It is a strange pet peeve of hers, but it was noticed that if her mane was up and out of her way she has a totally different attitude toward running, a more favorable one to say the least. She is a bit sensitive when criticized or punished, but she brings it on herself. Supernatural loves to be the center of attention and will rear up, buck and crow hop just to get it. Under saddle, she is pretty light on the rider's hands, though she gets more forceful with every step she runs. With every furlong that passes by, Siri will get faster and faster which is unique considering that most horses start slowing up as the furlongs go by.
